Anastassia Tzoytzoyrakos, EdD, is a Master Lecturer with Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and the American Language Institute. She specializes in the professional development of teachers and administrators in K-12 and higher education contexts. She has developed courses on pedagogy and assessment for Rossier School of Education and the MAT-TESOL program and has led workshops on innovative teaching practices for the Center of Excellence in Teaching (CET) and the Center of Excellence in Research (CER) at USC. In a special collaboration with the USC Joint Educational Project (JEP), Anastassia developed an experiential learning course components that connect graduate international students with local K-12 schools to foster mutually beneficial educational experiences. An advocate of advancing accountability and excellence in educational programs, Anastassia has led WASC accreditation teams in K-12 and higher education contexts. More recently, Anastassia has been actively engaging in advancing shared governance in higher education. She is currently serving as Secretary General on the USC Academic Senate and has also served as President of the Dornsife Faculty Council (DFC) for two consecutive years. Anastassia earned her Doctoral degree in Global Executive Leadership from Rossier School of Education, with her dissertation focusing on leading in complexity. She also holds a M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Biola University and a B.A. in Economics from University of California, Irvine.
