Meet the Team!
The following student workers help run the uSC ITA Program as Program Assistants and Undergraduate Student Consultants. Click on each person to learn more about them:
Bita
uSC Program Assistant
Bita is a first-year law student at USC Gould, and she has been a program assistant since Spring 2022. She just graduated from USC with her Bachelors in International Relations and a minor in Iranian Studies. While not working for the ALI, she loves reading, exploring LA sites, and traveling to new destinations. At USC Gould, she is involved in the Women’s Law Association, the First Gen Student Org, and is a Diversity Fellow.
Harmony
uSC Program Assistant
Harmony is a sophomore at USC, majoring in Human Biology. She is a military child and has grown up all across the country, but has loved the 6 years she’s had in LA the most. Harmony loves cooking, taking pictures, spending time at the beach, and attending sports games with friends in the Coliseum and Galen Center! She also enjoys her work at a pediatric clinic, lifeguarding, and shadowing in the OR!
Suzu
uSC Program Assistant
Suzu (class of ’28) is a Business Administration major with a passion for strategy and business development. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, she moved to the Bay Area along with her family during her early childhood. She enjoys writing, watching movies, and cafe hopping in her free time, and she is excited to continue exploring LA with her friends throughout her college journey! Suzu’s favorite movie is La La Land, and one of the top places she’d like to visit in LA is the Griffith Observatory.
Alexie
Undergraduate Student Consultant (uSC)
Alexie is a BFA Acting for Stage and Screen major in the Class of ’28. Born in the Philippines and raised in New York City, she has a strong passion for the arts and all things creative. In her free time, she enjoys roller skating, playing guitar, exploring fashion and makeup, trying new foods, and attending live theatre. This is her third year working as a uSC, and she truly enjoys supporting students through the ALI program!
Ellie
Undergraduate Student Consultant (uSC)
Ellie, Class of 2029, is a Business Administration major with a Legal Studies minor. She is a SoCal native, born and raised in Orange County. On campus, she is the Professional Development Associate at the International Consulting Club (ICC), a Marshall Scholarship Ambassador, and a member of the Marshall Entertainment Association. Ellie hopes to explore opportunities within wealth management and consulting. She loves to travel and, as a foodie, adores trying new cultural cuisines. In her free time, Ellie loves to hike, try new cafes, and watch films.
Emily
Undergraduate Student Consultant (uSC)
Emily, Class of 29′, is a Political Science major with a Legal Studies minor. Emily was born in Nicaragua and grew up in Las Vegas. Although she has visited LA multiple times, she is excited to explore all the new experiences she has not done previously. At USC, she is a member of Latinos Student in Law (LSL), Society of Women in Law (SWIL) and our Moot Court Brief Writing team. On a Pre-Law track, Emily hopes to endeavor in opportunities related to community service, Immigration and Family law, as well as judicial involvement. During days off she spends her time volunteering at non-profit organizations such as CARECEN LA and Immigrant Foundation in Las Vegas. In her free time, she enjoys trying new matcha shops, going to the beach, scouring flea markets, and practicing yoga.
Jayron
Undergraduate Student Consultant (uSC)
Jayron, class of ’27, is a Computer Science and Business Administration major under USC Viterbi. Jayron is a Los Angeles native, but is eager to explore the world, the different cultures, languages, and people. At USC, he is a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), ProductSC, and Avenues Consulting. Outside of academics, Jayron is a big fan of sports, with volleyball and soccer being his favorite sports, you might even see him at the Lyon Center courts and Brittingham Field. He hopes to go into Project Management or Business Strategy within the Tech world, allowing him to travel more to try even more different foods around the world.
Kimberly
Undergraduate Student Consultant (uSC)
Kim, Class of ’28, is a Legal Studies major with a minor in Forensics and Criminality. Originally from Orange County, California, she enjoys spending time with her sisters in Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., having found a home away from home. Outside of school, she loves traveling, exploring new places, attending live music events, and finding the best sweet treats wherever she goes. When she’s not out exploring, she’s probably taking a nap, watching a movie, or most recently, reading a book.
Sydney
Undergraduate Student Consultant (uSC)
Sydney (Class of 2028) is studying International Relations (Global Business) with a minor in Dance. Sydney has another on-campus job with Trojan Event Services, and is heavily involved with Delta Phi Epsilon Foreign Service Society and SC Ballet Company. She enjoys finding new study spots on campus, ranking new restaurants on Beli, and exploring LA with her friends.
Thamra
Undergraduate Student Consultant (uSC)
Thamra is a Computational Linguistics Major from the class of 2029, with minors in GIS & Sustainability Science and Speech-Language & Hearing Professions. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, photography, comedy TV, and learning new languages. A Sri-Lankan American from the Bay Area, she is excited to explore a new metropolitan area like Los Angeles (especially by bus and train, as a public transit enthusiast).
