CHRISTINA
Conversation Group Leader
Christina is a junior at USC, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Consumer Behavior, with an expected graduation date of December 2025. Christina’s passion for exploring cultures took her to Paris for her freshman year, enriching her perspective and fueling her love for travel. Her academic pursuits are complemented by a vibrant involvement in extracurricular activities at USC, where she actively contributes to the campus community. At USC, Christina serves as the President of the Korean American Student Association, where she plays a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community and cultural awareness among students. Her leadership and organizational skills shine through in this role, as she orchestrates events and initiatives that celebrate Korean heritage and promote inclusivity. Christina enjoys exploring new cafes, indulging in her passion for good food, and staying active with yoga and pilates. In her downtime, she can be found playing video games, diving into a good book, or catching the latest movie. Christina’s dynamic lifestyle and varied interests reflect her spirited approach to life and learning. Always ready for an adventure, she cherishes the opportunity to meet new people and gain different perspectives through her travels and everyday interactions.
DREYA
Conversation Group Leader
Andreya is a sophomore that is currently majoring in KSM: Global Health, B.S. She is currently involved in the USC’s Thematic Option Honors Program, that focuses on extensive reading and writing on topics that are unique to USC’s reading and writing curriculum. She is also part of the Masters Progressive Degree and plans to master in Health Administration. Graduating in 2025 Andreya has dreams of traveling the world and doing her post-back at Columbia University. With a gap year in between she plans to go to abroad for Medical School. Raised in Southern California her whole life, Andreya has been in love with USC’s campus since he was young girl. So being here is a dream come true for her. With the enthusiastic and loving personality that she has. It is evident that Andreya wants nothing but for those around her to succeed.
FRANK
Conversation Group Leader
Frank is a junior at USC, majoring in Narrative Studies. Frank is from Nashville, Tennessee. He’s a big fan of the outdoors, and enjoys hiking, as well as exploring nature trails. In his free time, he volunteers at Trojan Shelter, which is an organization to help disadvantaged college students, and assists in making short films with his friends. He also likes creative writing, particularly screenplays and short stories. Frank’s favorite part of USC is the community. The many ways in which USC helps its students to get involved in uplifting each others’ experiences allows for so many opportunities to connect with new people. He’s met many amazing friends during his time here, and hopes to provide a safe and supportive experience for all students and faculty alike.
GINA
Conversation Group Leader
Hailing from Biloxi, Mississippi, Gina is a senior at USC pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Russian. She is also an Air Force ROTC cadet and, upon graduation, will commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. With interests in storytelling and cultural exchange, she is working towards becoming a polyglot and, in addition to military service, hopes to pursue a photojournalism career that will allow her to travel and engage with communities around the world. She speaks English, Vietnamese, and Russian and is studying Spanish and Korean. In her spare time, Gina enjoys spending time at the beach, hammocking in McCarthy Quad, and painting with her friends.
MARY
Conversation Group Leader
Mary is a freshman planning to major in Legal Studies at Gould! Having lived in Asia, Chicago, Los Angeles, and now Orange County, Mary has always loved exploring new places and cultures. At USC, she hopes to continue meeting people from all over the world with hopes to learn, share with, and understand more about each other. Coming from a journalism and storytelling background, Mary hopes to share meaningful stories with the USC community and also beyond. Outside of the classroom, she loves exploring cafes and museums, making new playlists, and spending time with loved ones
MATTHEW
Conversation Group Leader
Matthew is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matthew has always been passionate about entrepreneurship and finding innovative ways to solve real-world problems. USC has provided him with the perfect platform to delve deeper into his passion, as it offers a diverse and engaging academic environment that nurtures creativity and critical thinking. What he enjoys most about being at USC is the vibrant campus life and the opportunity to connect with people from various backgrounds. When free from studies and work commitments, Matthew loves to lap swim, assist on film sets, read fiction books, and watch movies/shows. He is always available for a coffee chat, message him!
SARA
Conversation Group Leader
Sara is a junior studying Accounting, B.S. at USC, and will earn the title of the first in her family to graduate from college. Raised in a Salvadoran family and brought up in LA, Sara has been saturated with a variety of cultures, knowledge, and global perspectives all her life. Some extracurriculars she is a member of are the USC Marching Band (oh yay!), the InterVarsity Trojan Christian Fellowship, and serves her LA community as Governing Chair in the Norman Topping Student Aid Fund. In her free time, she enjoys teaching middle schoolers at Sunday school, spending time with her furry family (she has 3 cats and 1 dog), fellowship, and cooking. Some of her favorite interests are film, books, food, travel, and so much more as she is a naturally curious person!
SINDHU
Conversation Group Leader
Sindhu is a Sophomore at USC, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy. Born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, she is really excited to explore the diverse cultures, perspectives, and opportunities in Los Angeles. At school, Sindhu hopes to learn from the many students, organizations, and faculty members who dedicate their time to social impact and shaping policy in their community for the better. Sindhu’s older brother is a USC alumnus, contributing to her deep love for the campus and the supportive community, as well as a desire to explore the West Coast. She hopes to join student organizations and clubs that align with her passion for music, debate, literature, and community service. In her free time, she enjoys hammocking, trying new foods, road-tripping, playing volleyball, and hanging out with her friends!
